Ideas for my first car..??!

Am stuck for choice for my first car... woz thinkin of a Saxo furio 1.4 but a duno...
Any suggestions people....?

Aye a woz thinkin of a civic... but a cany find any that havnt done less than like 70 thousand miles..! most civics theese days ye buy have had the arse revd outta them by all th boy racers that hav had them... hard 2 find a good one..

70k is not a problem in a honda, they will go forever!! on any other car, 70k is alot and i would be weary about buying with that many miles, but hondas will go alot more than that, i bought my sol with over 80k, mos civic is 90k i think!
try autotrader or pistonheads

civic... go for the 1.4 model. insurance depends who and what you go with, have any ideas atm? im with admiral, have been since the start, and for a 1.3 fiesta i was 1600 fully comp per year, bit steep but i paid montly which made it better. you should have a shop around the companies

well ave got an 03 astra 3 dr hatch n a love it !! have only had 1 problem n it was difficult to solve but cheap 2 fix !! theres a pic in chariots !!

its not too many miles if ur gettin it for free

my sister paid £900 a '95 corsa about 3 or 4 years ago and it ran perfectly never needed any real maintenance and cheap insurance and it was high mileage so if ur goin vauxhall around that age ur probably gonna be fine

get either a corsa slap on a gsi kit with some decent wheels you got your self a lovely looking motor or get a civic a 1.3 pref 70 is nothing mate seriously you vcan pick up a m reg shaply s=one for bout 5-6 oo at the auctions trhen go jdm !!!

the egr valve seemed to sease !! causing it to cut out alot ! (mostly moterway ) nuhin a screwdriver n transmission fluid wouldnt cure !!

wel.. not free... 40pound.. basicly free.. all it needz is wingmirrors n therz a dent in th side.. but ma dad use 2 be a pannel beater so he can sort that. plus hees gona meke me a bodykit =D n av got 2 cobra bucket seats n am lookin for some alloys the now..! so.. shud be a nice we car wen am done with it =)

lupo 1.4 sport cheap insurance and pretty fast will beat ur 1.4 civics golfs etc anyday and drop em on their a55 n it wud b sweet did i mention their 100bhp

Yeh go for age wise Corsa's are good i got a 1995 n reg for £350

Don't get a saxo they arent to good in crashes, get a honda civic or a astra, corsa,fiesta etc..

Yeh don't want anything big or that for your first car

honda are built to last, ll round the world n back, and u change a few gaskets here and there, nice wee oil change filters, and pop bang squeeze bow ur sorted:) dtn buy nyhin french or german:) trust me;)

ha.! no bother..! think am gona go for the astra.. tis a good we car.. never had 2 hav anythin majour fixed.. jus had a bran new exhaust system put on it n its passed evry mot its ever been to, plus am gettin i for next to nothing so
