mate theres not such a thing as a ek3 vti if there was mines wud be RAPID!!! just clearing ure mistake up its a ek4 vti/vti-s(if its black)

legit reasons for this disgusting change mainly i want a better mpg, more seats and cheaper insurance as uni costs are building up

not a chance mate, you will be very very lucky to make 220bhp just putting the supercharger on, few more choice mods such as full exhaust system, uprated fuel pump, injectors, uprated ecu etc you may be pushing out 230-240bhp at the most!! the supercharger will not bump the BHP up alot however will increase the torque by a fair bit. It isnt all about high BHP figures, its about how it puts its power down, EK9's are very lightweight cars meaning one with 230-240bhp and a good LSD to help lay the power down will be very fast!!

and your being very optimistic about 400bhp would have to have very deep pockets to achieve that, bored out engine or a transplant thus meaning it wouldnt be a B16b. Bolting a turbo or supercharger on doesnt always mean add 100bhp onto the standard BHP figure.

my brothers old jordan as 228 bhp n/a and thats the b16a and it wasnt bored out just tuned so if u should make 220 from the b16b

if you say so, what mods was he running as i would love to know where he got all the extra bhp from as i'm pretty sure it would be the fastest n/a b16a in the world

i do say so cj 181 ask people if they know it it was built by a bank manager i think with spoon sports and skunk2 internals everything else uprated like injectors fuel pump skimmed and polished head thinner head gasket and remaped with a dastek unichip theres a list of it all somewhere 228bhp with printout to prove mate

well heres a lupo sport that went from stock 100bhp to 180bhp via an eaton charger

times not good as everything wasnt set up right my gti could keep up with this easily at that quarter mile time
