my new mod

ok i spent 4.5 hours today fittin my new VAFCII, decided i was doin it myself as i didnt wanna pay some mechanic £220 to fit it, feck that

the first pics shows that my cars just fits inside my workshop lol



then i stripped out the ECU which i was a bit touch and go about as this is the whole brains of the car



then wired in my wire harness for the VAFCII which was a total of 10 wires check the profesional finish lol,



and then the finall result




now all i need to do is figure out how the hell to work it, theres so many dam settings in it

good man like it if you need a hand setting it up i used to install loads of these along with apexi avcr's etc

i had the vtec set away down at 4000RPM 2nite, its mental wen your on the motorway as its permanently in vtec, not so good on the fuel tho lol

lol no bother i knowe people who used to set it at stupid levels like 3k n that lol

3K jesus christ, take it they liked visiting the shell petrol station then lol

lol 4k is bad but 3k would be insane! But hey EK9 Type R with a vtec controller set to 3k hmm might be my way of doing things haha

yass u finally got rid of them japanese sat nav lol

defo want a wee trip in this wi the controller in

callum the jap sat nav is still in the car lol, i had a look at all the wires and thot hmmmm ill just leave that the now lol, its wired into everythin, so much so that wen u turn your lights on the sat nav goes into night mode lol, its crazy, so em its all just sittin under my passenger seat lol

3500 to get most out of vtec:)

got mates tht own hondas and used to work for honda.. vtec is like turbo boost, the lowerr u get he more u push, wen u hit vtec it all cums out of noware, and keeps goin goin going, wat else is dne to the engine?

cant get that from a zeTEC

im away to get one of these soon it will be set at 3 k lol

thatst the good thing with all hondas good mods for them but u gotta spend the poppy££ for the good gaind for example a cheep vtec controller u get ur vtec noise low but no gains u will have the cam profile change but it wont give that extra fuel and air or the spark for it so spend the extra cash what stevie done and u get the lot stevie wat mods u done so far

the good place to have ur vtec is around 4750 to 5k as on teg u r around 6k so an extra 2k in revs is alot but u want to remember there no ment 2 be in tec al the time so extra wear and tear but its tempting as u wana hear the tec but no hit with the fuel bills iv known 2 ppl to blow up k20s which is a hard thing to doas i worked in honda for 2 year honda were that surprise the cover them under warrenty dont u just love HONDA
