Mods

Does a forum with only 18 members really need 2 mods? I'd say u wouldn't even need one till u have say 100 members. A good admin presence and ur sorted. Not enough admin presence the sites just gonna go down the pan, i've seen it happen a good few times now with the sites i've helped run. Just my tuppence worth

well we feel this is nessary as some of the mods work at different times of the day so 8 times out of ten there is normally a mod online plus we feel the site will grow quite rapidly in the near future that is why thank you for your comment tho

Site will only grow if u move to deicated hosting, have a main site page and can compete with the countless other cruise/car sites out their. Wat can this site offer they can't? Theirs no answers anywhere on here to say. Without anything like this it will remain a forum. It's not a proper club at the moment till some changes are made.

Take my club for example, we offer a free gallery for every member. A host of different meets and events and even tho we lost the database again doing a server swap 3 weeks ago we have over 60 members again. In 3 weeks! The forums busy, we all have good banter etc.

I am in no way having a dig just offering some helpful suggestions to help the site grow. And if theirs stickers being made up for it gimme a shout and i'll happily put some on my car. And i'll reccomend a really good guy to go see for them

cheers mate the sites only been up a week lol so once we get a main site organised (which we do its currently being built) we shall build from there on in and we will be able to offer a few things but thats secret in the pipe line all i can say is watch this space

in all fairness our mods are there 2 really help me run the site as i am currently at uni and have various other commitments and with the help of a select few the site shall remain clean

as for the website i have purchased www.street-carz.co.uk but unfortunately the site is not operational at the time

pm me ur mobile number and i shall gladly look for help regarding options for hosting etc as this is fairly new to us here at street-carz
